Keeping the mouth clean
It is called dental hygiene and it is made up of brushing your teeth with toothpaste at least two times each day, flossing your teeth often, trying not to eat too many sweets that will rot your teeth and seeing your dentist for regular check-ups. You should also wear proper headgear to protect your teeth while playing contact sports and avoid smoking or chewing tobacco, which can stain your teeth, give you bad breath and cause cancer. If you have any problems with your teeth or gums, you should see your dentist as soon as possible. Taking good care of your mouth and teeth will help you to have pleasant breath, a nice smile and fewer cavities.
Cleaning the Face
Since your face is the first thing people notice about you, keeping it clean is very important. Healthy skin is the most important element of a great looking face. It is not only easy to achieve; it is a critical thing you can do for yourself. Put your best face forward. Teenage boys are not as lucky as girls. They get dirtier than the girls or young women because their skin is 15% more oily and which is the results of bigger pores in their skin.
- clean your face every day. Deep cleansing is important. It keeps pores clear, skin healthy and you looking good.
- It is better to go natural. Cleansing products should be as chemical-free as possible. Deodorant soaps shouldn't be used on your face. They cleanse with harsh ingredients and leave a detergent film behind.
- Scrubbing removes dead cells and smooth the surface of your face. The scrub should be strong without being damaging. Stay away from scrubs that contain rough elements like ground bits of nut or seed extracts.
- Moisturizing is a necessity. Again, the product with the least amount of chemical additives is the best.
- For an intensive moisture treatment use pure vitamin E, or aloe vera oil. It is available in liquid form. This is a great under eye treatment. Remember it is very important to moisturize this sensitive area of the face. It is one of the first places to show age because the under eye skin secretes no necessary oils on its own.
The Hair
Your hair gets oily as you grow older. Keep it clean by washing it regularly. For most girls this means several times a week. If you're an active athlete or have very oily hair, you may want to wash it everyday. Use mild shampoo that's made for your hair type.
Keeping the feet Clean
As a woman, it can be very depressing to have foot odor. Some people are more prone to getting it than others. If you have smelly feet, start by using a washcloth to scrub your feet daily. Dusting your feet with baby powder and wearing clean socks will help cut down on sweat and odor. If you wear sandals or shoes without socks, choose ones with good ventilation.
Hands
The more you wash your hands the less likely you are to get that nasty cold that your friends have been passing around. Always wash your hands with soap and water after you use the restroom and before you eat. If you have a cold, wash your hands often.
Ear
Daily use of cotton bud is encouraged. You may also use Ototek Loop ear wax remover. Just insert the Ototek Loop gently along the edge of your ear canal, move the tip to the opposite side and scoop the wax out. It's that easy. And since the handy ear guard prevents the tip from reaching your eardrum, it's safe, too. Safe guard keeps loop from reaching too deep into your ear and contacting your sensitive eardrum.
The good news is, Your ears get washed every time you shampoo and shower. In most cases, that's all the cleaning they need.
Nailbrush
Dirty nails are an ugly sight. Scrub you nails with a soft-bristled nailbrush to remove the dirt trapped underneath.
